The labels on the box reflect the different part #s, IE WRT32X and WRT32XB. However, the label on the bottom of the router, regardless of whether it is a WRT32X or WRT32XB, always shows WRT32X.
The 32X is a "generic" box that doesn't cater to the X-Box / XBox and describes itself as a "Gaming Router"
The 32XB has X-Box / XBox references on the outside of the box.
At this point there has not been any hardware differences noted between the two. Just software tweaks.
