Can you resize a Windows Partition on an an Apple macBook laptop (yes, Intel based)? Answer: Yes

Will it cause major issues with the macOS 'portion' of the drive? Answer: Yes (Long answer: Sort of)

Can it be fixed? Answer: Yes

HOW!?!?!?

So What's Up?

It turns out, for some odd reason, some partitioning tools (EaseUS, etc.) can change the Partition Type of the APFS Partition to 'something else', like Windows Recovery.

Solution

If the drive can be removed from the macBook and plugged into a Linux Computer OR if a Live USB version of Linux (CFDISK) or WindowsPE (Hiren's Boot CD, DiskGenius) can be booted from, then just change the partition type for the APFS Partition back to APFS. And yes, you'll probably have to deal with all that "Secure Boot" stuff and work around it (Hint: the "wimboot" booting method in Ventoy seems to work around this fairly well).

Sorry, no detailed instructions. If you've got the courage to even try this, then you already know how to use the partitioning tools.

On a really sad part is that it seems to be possible from the Apple Recovery 'whatever they're calling it now' Environment, but there were issues when attempting to use the GPT command to do what is so easy in CFDISK and DiskGenius.
